There is a critical demand for foster parents across the state. In West Virginia, there are approximately 6,000 children in the foster care system.
There are children in our communities who lack a safe, stable, and loving family. There is a need for foster parents who are willing to invest and improve a child’s life.
Think of us as the first step in the process of being certified. Our Foster Care Coordinator can answer questions, provide information and help you find the agency that is the best fit for your family.
We will stay in touch, even after you match with an agency. Our Foster Care Coordinator can provide guidance, support, and be your advocate during the entire process.
You’ll become certified through your agency of choice and be well on your way to opening your heart and home to a child in foster care!
